I'm an Iranian photographer specializing in landscape and travel photography. I'm currently devoting most of my time capturing unique images of Iran, in particular remote and hard to get locations that have rarely been photographed. As a professional I camp for days in cold and inhospitable locations to capture that right image.
Farhad Babaei was born in 1984 in Bandar-e-Anzali, a city of Gilan province in north of Iran.Graduated in Electrical Engineering , He started to self-teach himself in order to persuade his long life passion for photography and Photo Journalism Back in 2007. With Winning of DDifferentPhoto Contests in iran and outside the borders and also with his works getting published in famous magazines such as : Newsweek National Geography and many important German printed medias , He's now recognized Internationally professional. He is Currently based in Iran , working for laif Photo agency
